The foundation of KV Mathura Cantt. Was laid by the hon'ble minister of education prof. V.K. R. V. Rao in 1965. The Vidyalaya was running in B. N. Poddar inter college and then was shifted into this splendid building with serene surrounding on 30th Aug 1970.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Mathura Cantt, in Cantt area at a distance of about 3 kms from the Mathura City , providing quality education and right inputs to help children to face the competitive world today.It has now emerged as "Center for Excellence " in Mathura District.
