The Convent of Jesus and Mary, Naigaon, is an English Medium school, which is a part of Jesus and Mary institutions the world over. It is a Christian Minority Institution that aims primarily at the education of the Catholic community and the preservation of the Catholic Faith and religious practices.

The school was established at the request of the local Christian community, prepares its pupils for the Secondary School Certificate examination which they appear for in Std. X.

Preference in admission to the school will be given to Catholic children. Admission will however be open to children of other communities without distinction of caste or creed.

With a view of preserving our Catholic faith, classes in religion will be conducted and it is obligatory for Catholic Children to attend.

The School stands for excellence, development of skills and character formation based on the love of God and the service of man as modeled in the person of Jesus Christ.

Thus emphasis is on the development of the integrated personality.
