The D.A.V. movement, which was founded 125 years ago, swept across the entire nation like colossal wave engulfing ignorance, illiteracy and social deviations and was involved in building up a healthy knowledgeable society and a strong nation, with a chain of more than 750 educational institutions. The D.A.V. college trust and management society is the oldest and largest non-government educational organization in India. D.A.V. Nursery School, Outram Lines is one of the smallest saplings of such a prestigious society. The seed was sown on July 6, 2009 by Honorable General Secretary Sh. R. S. Sharma.
