SSLT Gujarat Sr. Sec. School is the oldest Linguistic Minority Government Aided School of Delhi. The school was established by Shree Delhi Gujarati Samaj in 1905 with the vision of creating an opportunity to get rich and wholesome learning experience to those under its umbrella.

The dream of providing quality education saw the foundation of school being laid with a clear vision of ?common man?s private school?. The present school building was inaugurated by honorable Prime Minister Sh. Jawaharlal Nehru in 1964.

Presently this school boasts of providing meaningful quality education to more than 1200 students. The school aims at providing teaching learning experiences that help hone the 3H?s ? Head, Heart and Hand of its students.

The school envisages making learning relevant to real life situation and helping learners develop into confident, skilled and harmonious personalities.

The school has been recipient of INDIRA AWARD for its meritorious position in 2010. In 2016, the school received "Excellence in Education" award for being the best Govt. Aided School of the region. Each year our students have been making us proud in academics, sports and cultural activities.
