Guru Tegh Bahadur Public School is a co-educational Senior Secondary School recognized by the Directorate of Education, Delhi Administration as a ?Recognised Un-aided Private School? and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education for the All India Secondary School Examination (Class X) and the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII). The School is a Sikh minority institution, established in 1974 and managed by the Guru Tegh Bahadur Public School Society (Regd), Model Town, Delhi, with a view to provide an institution with a modern approach to education on public school lines as well as inculcating in its students the lofty ideals of the Sikh religion and deriving inspiration from the life of the ninth Sikh Guru whose supreme sacrifice was witnessed by Delhi a few centuries ago.
