About the School

DAV Public School, Kailash Hills was started by Principal Mrs. Krishna Mahajan in 1983 at Masjid Moth, Niti Bagh with just 150 students. She shifted the school to Kailash Hills in 1991. She retired in 1998 leaving behind a strong student strength of 1200 and a team of 65 teaching and 35 non teaching staff members.

Mrs. Shashi Prabha Chandla carried forward the torch for another year and handed it over to Mrs. Madhu Kochar in 1999. The school made rapid progress in all spheres and 1380 students shaped their destiny under their able guidance. Mrs. Ira Khanna took over the reins of the School in 2006. In her dynamic leadership, the number of students rose to 1850 and gave a ?Smart? profile to the School.

Mrs. Gargi Chhabra, took over in August 2023, in her leadership students are gearing up to meet the challenges of the computer age and turning into netizens rather than citizens by bringing the latest technology and e-learning to the classrooms.
