Aligarh Public School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) which is the largest board in the country.APS is a co-educational school with a strength of about 2500 students on roll. The school provides free education to large number underprivileged students. The school has transport facilities also.

The school has adequate facilities and is well equipped and airy classrooms, a library, science labs, and computer labs. There is a large playground with volley ball and basket ball courts along with table tennis room. The school has visitors room also.

All three labs namely, Physics, Chemistry and Biology are well equipped with necessary facilities, helping students to complete their experiments without any difficulty. Each year labs are renovated and new equipments are added. With the new emerging technologies, APS has well furnished computer labs with projector and brand new computers are added every year.
