Shantiniketan Vidyalaya is a co-educational C.B.S.E. English medium, residential school. The school has been established to impart quality education and to develop a comprehensive personality in the children. The purpose of education is the development of a totally integrated personality with positive, creative and responsive qualities. To quote Swami Vivekananda, we want that education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded, and by which one can stand on one?s own feet. At Shantiniketan Vidyalaya, our intention will always be to translate Swami Vivekananda?s vision into a reality.

The motto of the school, Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye means ?That is True Education, which Liberates?. The students of Shantiniketan come to us from all the states of India and abroad. So we have a cosmopolitan student community.

Academics
In 1999 the school started Classes I ? VI. In March 2003, the first batch of 28 Class X students appeared for the AISSE conducted by CBSE. All the pass out batches results percentage was 100. The results of March-2016 with 129 students was also appreciable with 25 A1 Grade. Our students also participate in Olympiads, NTSE and National Child Science Congress at National level. We have Society for Promotion of Academics Excellence in Schools programme under the guidance of Dr. Chukka Ramaiah, President of SPAES.
