With the blessings of Agam Gayata upadhyaye Praver Sh. Jitender Muni Ji Maharaj, Sh. Mahavir Jain Educational Society has established the Lord Mahavir Jain Public School Dera Bassi in March 2002 with an initial strength of 400 students, with an aim to impart quality education to the children of Dera Bassi and adjoining areas. It is situated in pollution free and fresh airy envrionment. It is a co-educational English Medium School from Pre-nursery to 10+2 all stream. Previously it was affiliated to P.S.E.B. and currently on the demand of the people of this area it has been affiliated to C.B.S.E. Board Delhi. It has a vast building and fully equipped with two big playgrounds and audio-visual theatre etc.

I highly feel proud in sharing with you that this school has developed in full swings. The school takes pride in the fact that till date 2300 students are gaining laurels in the academic field. Our pupils got merit in the Board Exam Results of all streams of 10+2 and matric at Distt. Level.

We focus on the overall personality of the children and not just studies that is the reason why we are various activities like games, music, dance, art and craft, painting, computer, mass, pity, gymnastics and boxing are offered in school curriculum. Our students are encouraged to participate on National Level in debates declamations, recitations, general knowledge, science quiz and essay writing etc.
