The School enjoys an excellent location in the prime area of George Town, Prayagraj. It is centrally located within 2-3 kms.of the city railway station,bus stop and main commercial centres.

J.T.Education Society, pioneers and enthusiasts for the cause of girls' Education in the city of Prayagraj established the school to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of J.T.Girls Inter College (the first educational institution established by J.T.E.S. in 1919) and hence the name 'Golden Jubilee School.' The school functioned as a Junior High School recognised by the U.P. Board for a number of years before being affiliated to the CBSE N.Delhi up to secondary level and was subsequently upgraded to +2 level. It is one of the oldest CBSE schools in the city.

For class I (age group 6 yrs and above) and onwards the CBSE system of education is followed based on the NCERT syllabus. In the interest of overall development of students Art and Craft, Martial Arts, Dance, Music, Computer Science are also taught.

English is the medium of communication at J.T.G.J. School, and Hindi is taught as second language. In class V to VIII a third language "Sanskrit" is introduced.
