Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 (AFS) Adampur came into its existence in 1983 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan New Delhi,which is an autonomous body formed by ministry of Education Govt. of India, with some poultry dawn risers and now it has taken a Titanic shape with 1400 demi-gods.It is one of the model vidyalayas specified by KV Sangathan.The vidyalaya has been marching ahead combating all challenges to cope up with the modern dynamic changing world

YEARWISE EXPANSIONS

The school was imparting education up to Higher Secondary Level since 1983. Their onwards it has been imparting education up to class XII(Science & Humanities Stream). At present the school having 3 sections up to class X & 1 section for Science and 1 for Commerce Stream at +1 and +2 level.
