The idea of starting an English Medium Primary School, from Nursery to 3rd class, was conceived sometime on 17 March, 1989. Birla White Vidya Mandir, as it was known then, started functioning from 1 July, 1989. The real transformation of the school started in June, 2000, when the school was tied up with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan as ?Bhavan?s Birla White Vidya Mandir?, the bench marked brain child of Birla White, affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
