Kendriya Vidyalaya Karauli, came into being in the session 2004-2005. It was inaugurated by Mrs. Jaskaur Meena, Minister of State for Human Resources and Development, Govt. of India on 21st Feb, 2004. At the time of its inaugural, Mr. R.Milan, Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya,Sawaimadhopur was given charge of the school as Principal and looked after the working of theVidyalaya till Mr. A. Atkins, Principal G-II took over the charge from Mr. R.Milan.
