School History
Hooghly Modern School established on 18th June 1990 is an English medium co-education school following the syllabus of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE). The aim of this institution is to impart sound education to the student by forming habits of piety, virtue, discipline and self-reliance.

The school takes immense pride in upholding a tradition of excellence in education taking special care of slow learners and under achievers. We believe each child is gifted and each child can perform. To do this, children need to explore, be engaged have fun, and be empowered to discover new spheres of learning. Therefore in our school, sport, dance, drama and music features prominently in the curriculum with students engaged in various team activities and competitions.

Our main objective is to provide facilities for all round development of the child be it mental, physical, spiritual, cultural or social. We provide the best possible quality of education by maintaining standards of teaching, and behavior across the entire school community.
