KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA Joshimath was established in the year 1988 and still running in temporary barracks in two parts approximate six km apart from each other. Kendriya Vidyalaya Joshimath is a miniature India inculcating in its students feelings of patriotism, brotherhood and national integration.

The school is up to +2 level having single sections in each class from I to XII, with Science stream at +2 level. We have a very sound and exemplary track of producing quality results in AISS & AISSC Exams conducted by the CBSE. Every year a good number of our students are selected in Medical, Engineering and other professional courses in India and abroad. The vidyalaya has a very good infrastructure for imparting quality education. We have a very rich library having more than 1200 books on all fields and 12 periodicals regularly subscribed fully equipped Physics/Chemistry/Bio/Computer labs.
