Overview

The School is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, an all-India Board. The School has classes from VIto XII. The academic year begins in April and the Final Examinations are conducted in March of the following year.English is the medium of instruction throughout the School. Hindi holds a place of very high importance inthe curriculum, and every effort is made to ensure that each girl reaches a high standard in the language. A third language is taught in the Middle School, for which an option between Sanskrit, Punjabi, Bengali and Urdu is available. Students may also opt for French, although this choice is available only to girls who have previous knowledge of the language. French is also taught as an activity, which enables girls to reach a basic level of proficiency without opting for it as a formal subject
