Kendriya Vidyalaya are the pace setting educational institution located in every nook and corner of the country and abroad. Kendriya Vidyalaya Khurda Road is one of them and has been functioning since 1975. It is run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development,Govt of India.

This is the only Kendriya Vidyalaya of Khurda to cater to the educational needs of the children. Affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE),New Delhi , this Vidyalaya provides education from class I to XII. Quality education with modern techniques is imparted by a team of highly educated ,experienced and dedicated teachers . There are provisions for learning English,Mathematics,Physics,Chemistry,Biology, and Informatics Practices at the +2 levels.
