Kutra starting developing after the opening of the Block. Since then the demand for opening of a K.V. was needed and demanded by the local population.Dreams turned into reality with the opening of K.V. Kutra on 06.08.2010 under the civil sector.Since then the vidyalaya started functioning in a temporary building sponsored by the State Govt. with single section.Due to the efforts by the KVS, the district administration has allotted 15 acres of land for the construction of KVS building at BUDAKATA about 4 (four )Km west to Kutra.It is declared as a hard station with effect from 01.04.2012.
