International School Award bal bhawan School has been awarded with the International School Award by British Council. This award is a benchmarking scheme for adding an international Dimension to the curriculum and for using innovative teaching practices. School entered into a partnership with Broadland High, a UK based school and shared our activities with them. National Cadet Corps (NCC) Boys : 10 cadets from our school attended the ATC camp under the leadership of Gaurav Dubey. Cadets were also given training in Drill, Firing, Self defence and were awarded medals in it. They also visited Aasra Old Age Home as a social service initiative. Girls : 13 girl cadets attended the CATC state level camp at Bhopal and secured the 1st position in Drill competition. Bhumika Bhartiya (9K) and Veena Singh Thakur (9N) atteded the Sena camp at Bhopal and Sagar. They have been selected for the 2nd decat for firing competition and awarded by the commander of 1MP CTR with the certificates. Veena Singh Thakur of class 9th attended Mavalankar camp in July. She got selected for firing competition at Jabalpur at State Level competition and secured Second position in firing competition and got selected for National level firing competition.
