JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA BIRKHADI, BHIND(M.P.) is co-educational, residential schools, fully financed by Government of India and run by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti- an Autonomous Organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development. This Vidyalaya situated at the distance of 40KMs from District Head Quarters on Lahaar Road- the road towards district Jalaun(U.P.). This Vidyalaya established in year 1987. This Vidyalaya is affiliated with C.B.S.E. Delhi. Navodaya Vidyalaya Scheme : In accordance with the National Policy on Education, 1986, the Government of India has Launched a scheme to establish on an average, one Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalya(JNV) in each district in the country except Tamil Nadu, with the following objectives :- (i) To provide good quality modern education including a strong component of culture, values, environment awareness and Physical Education to talented children in rural areas without regard to their family's socio-economic condition. (ii) To ensure that all students of Navodaya Vidyalayas attain a reasonable level of competence in three languages as envisaged in three language formula. (iii) To serve in each district as focal points for improvement in the quality of school education through sharing of experiences and facilities.
