Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 5 Shastri Nagar Gwalior was established in the year 1994. It was founded under the auspices of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous organisation that works under the Ministry of Human Resource Development Government of India. This Vidyalaya is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education New Delhi and provides instructions for Sciences and Mathematics through English and for Social Sciences through both English and Hindi media. Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 5 Shastri Nagar Gwalior is situated at a distance of 2 KMs. from Gwalior Junction and Interstate Bus Stand Gwalior as well on Thatipur Morar Road. This Vidyalaya runs in two sections up to class XII and offers +2 Level Education of Science and Commerce Disciplines offering sample choices of subjects viz.
