Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 3, Morar Cantt, Gwalior was established as one of the offshoots of Bhopal Region in July 1980 under defence sector ( Army) with 500 students and a few staff members in temporary building. Within limited infrastructure it advanced on its path by leaps and bounds in all arenas. Today it is one of the most sought after schools of this Region. Kendriya Vidyalaya No.3 has got a magnificent permanent building, which is located in serene and green environment necessary for an undisturbed pursuit of learning. It is equipped with all modern facilities. The building comprises of 34 classrooms 08 labs and 12 other rooms. The spacious and well-ventilated classrooms are furnished with comfortable furniture and provide a conducive atmosphere for teaching-learning process. Presently it is teeming with 1610 students under the able guidance of 50 devoted teachers. The small sapling has now become a shady tree. It is well established with 3 sections each in classes I to X and 2 sections in XI ( Sci.) and one section each in class XI (comm.) and XII Science and commerce. The glimmering success of the pupils may be visualized in several technical courses. Some of its alumni are holding coveted posts in different fields. They are elevating the name of their alma- mater through their outstanding achievement in their respective professions.
