Ideal Public School was established in 1992 under the purview of "Thaikkattukara Muslim Jama-ath Educational Charitable Trust". The school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) New Delhi. The syllabus followed is also that of the C.B.S.E. The textbooks used are those prepared by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (N.C.E.R.T). The medium of instruction is English. The academic year begins on middle of May and close on end of March every year .
