Jeevan Prakash High School? is a Kannada Medium, co-educational institution and is recognized by the state government teaching the State Syllabus (SSLC). The school comprises of Nursery, Primary, and High School sections. It was founded in 1980 by Dr Prakash Guruputra with an vision to provided education to the children in the immidiate community. The school is located in the center of the city. JPS also focuses on the social, physical and spiritual needs of the children of all classes of society. The school has been in existence for over thirty five years. The school has an enrolment of have 1000 children attending from grades Nursery to 10th standard. The Medium of education is Kannada, but English is also thought as a subject.
