Kendriya Vidyalaya no 2 Mangalore , one of the most prestigious educational institutions of Dakshina Kannada in Karnataka State.
This centre of excellence which was first established in July 1997 in civil sector under the patronage of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi an autonomous body under the Ministry of HRD.
Kendriya Vidyalayas are composite co-educational institutions, imparting education from class I to XII. However, some of the Kendriya Vidyalayas are functioning up to X standard.
