Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, Belgaum Cantt. was started on the 18 of september 1983. The Vidyalaya has classes from I to XII with Science and Commerce Streams at the Plus Two level.

Vidyalaya has maintained highest academic records since its inception. In the academic session 2015-16, the Vidyalaya has produced 100% results in class X and 98.04% in XII CBSE Board Examination.
