Kendriya Vidyalaya
is a system of Central Government schools under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The system came into being in 1962 under the name "Central Schools" and has been affiliated with CBSE since then. Later, the name was changed to Kendriya Vidyalaya.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Singharsi, is a Defence Sector co-education school. It started in 1971. Since then it has been doing a commendable service to the defence personnel as well as the hamlets around. Kendriya Vidyalaya, Air Force Station, Sinagarsi. The Vidyalaya is blessed with its own three storied building containing full-equipped laboratories, Computer, Library and two playgrounds. It has the classes from I to XII.
