Prakash Higher Secondary School, with definite aims and objectives, was founded in 1971. It is run by Prakash Trust, a registered public educational trust under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1956.

The school, situated at Ahmedabad ? Gujarat has its definite aims and objectives, and to realise these ideals in practice, varied opportunities are provided in the school so that the young saplings may blossom fully in a cheerful, graceful and free atmosphere. The school is co-educational and the medium of instruction is English. Prakash Higher Secondary School is recognised and affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) ? New Delhi. It prepares students for All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) at the end of Std X and All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (AISSCE) at the end of Std XII in both Science and Commerce streams.
