Kendriya Vidyalaya Viramgam, Distt. Ahmedabad, Gujarat was established in 1987 under Civil Sector with the Distt. Collector & Magistrate as its Chairperson and Dy. Collector & SDM as his Nominee.

Temporary Building for Vidyalaya has been provided by the Distt. Collector in India Oil Corporation Unit of Viramgam.

The Vidyalaya has Classes from I-X.

The school functions under the autonomous body of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.
