The present Kendriya Vidyalaya was opened under Defence Sector in the premises of the Air Force Station, Darjipur, Vadodara (Gujarat) w.e.f. July 14, 2010 vide KVS letter No. F. 11029-12/2009-KVS (Admn.1) dated 10-07-2010. The ragular classes were started from Aug 02, 2010. The vidyalya is imparting eduction to about 330 Children from Class I to IX.

KVAFS Darjipura is running in the temporary buildingprovided by the sponsoring agency i.e. AFS, Darjipurawith 8 big and 2 small rooms presently accommodating eight classes, Staff Room,Principals Room and Office. The KV is in dire need of 2-3 rooms for Computer lab cum activity room, Sports room and Music room for which thesponsoring agency has been requested.

A small stretch of compound serves the purpose of play area for smaller children.For classes 3rd-8th the ground in the vicinity is being utilised as theplayground. The basic needs of a campus are getting fulfilled but extra spaceis required for growth and conduct of other activities.
