Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC Mehsana was established in the year 1980 under the project sector of ONGC. It is one of the foremost school in the district to cater to needs of the masses for quality education and all round development run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan New Delhi on CBSE pattern of education.

KV Mehsana made a beautiful beginning in the year 1980 with classes 1 to 5 with one section each. Today to tread the path of progress and achievement the school has classes 1 to 12 with an enrolment of more than 1100 students. It caters to the all round development of the students besides providing quality education. The vidyalaya gives due place to Co-Curricular activities including Cultural, literary, physical, social for grooming the entire personality of the child.
