New Horizon English Medium School, situated in Rajiv Nagar, Raigarh (C.G.) came into existence a decade ago, in the year 2005 and started functioning in budding stage from July, 2005 with skeleton staff headed by a Principal and a nominal student strength of 28 in Nursery and K.G. classes with an object to uplift down-trodden section in the field of education in particular irrespective of cast, colour and creed which increased now to the tune of 550 students. The New Horizon Society was later registered on 03.1.2006. Mr. S. K. Datta & Mrs. B. S. Dutta were selected/nominated as Director and Principal by the members of the society unanimously. Gradually, year after year with the untiring endeavour and efforts of the management, the school today reached at its threshold of elevation stage i.e. Higher secondary level with Science, Commerce & Humanities under the guidance of well experienced qualified and trained faculties. Furthermore, it is rather a well augury for the school that the result of the very first batch of H.S. Examination (2014-15) was cent per cent due to the sincere services rendered by the faculties. To add to this, the new Principal of the school joined on 01.6.2015, while Mrs. B. S. Dutta, took over as second Director of the school. The total Teacher strength of the school is 19 inclusive of Head Master and Co-ordinator.
