Army Public School, SP Marg, Lucknow was established on 1st September in the year 1993. The school has progressed leaps and bounds from its humble beginning as Army School into a well reputed CBSE institution in Lucknow. It admits boys and girls irrespective of the rank of their parents, caste, creed or social status. The school has classes from I to XII. The medium of instruction is English .

We strive to give secular education without being biased and equip the children with a sound and happy disposition to face life with discipline, courage and confidence. We try to instill in the children the sprit of tolerance, respect for all animate and inanimate begins and love for those might differ in creed, language, region or origin.

The School shifted from its old location to the present location at Sardar Patel Marg, Near Topkhana Bazar in Jun 1997. At present there are 68 sections, Library, Three major Computer Labs, separate Laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology & Mathematics, One Audio Visual Room, an Activity Block with Music, Craft, Art, Band Room and Gymnasium, a Traffic island in Primary Wing and a Science Park.
