Dewan Public School, Hapur was founded in 1995 under the patronage of shri Daulat Ram Dewan Charitable Trust to fulfil the dreams of Late Shri Daulat Ram Dewan, who , besides being a dedicated teacher,championed the cause of education thoughout his life. Over the years, the school has grown into a full-fledged school complex with an enrolment of nearly 2800 students from Nursery to Class XII under a team of competent teachers.

It is a co-educational school with English as the medium of instruction. Affiliated to C.B.S.E., Delhi, the school runs on the lines of leading Public Schools in the country.

Dewan Public School is a member of United School Organisation of India; the biggest and oldest Non-governmental Organisation (N.G.O) in India. It is today a premier globally recognized institution devoted to promoting teaching about the U.N. and Peace Education among the young school student. It is operating in 52 countries through the United School International which enjoys consultative status with the United Nations, F.A.O. and UNICEF as well as operational relationship with UNESCO.
