HISTORY

It was hundred years ago, at the convergence of Damodar, Kalimati & Sandline road, a piece of land caught the attention of a few young, enthusiastic andhraites. Their evening meetings led to the formation of an association called Andhra Dramatic and Literary Society. Though the land was full of dirt, rubble þy bushes, the enthusiasm of these youth did not die out. Fortunately, in 1918, that piece of land was allotted by the Steel Company to the A.D.L. Society. The founder members of the Society worked hard and put in tremendous effort and selfless devotion with a purpose of running a primary school, small library, dramatic and other cultural activities in the Societyís own premises.

In 1928, ADL Hindi Medium School was established which is affiliated to the Jharkhand Board.

Finally, 1975 saw the birth of ADLSSunshineSchool, an institution that has a strong desire to serve the community.
