Kendriya Vidyalaya Viramgam, Distt. Ahmedabad, Gujarat was established in 1987 under Civil Sector with the Distt. Collector & Magistrate as its Chairperson and Dy. Collector & SDM as his Nominee.
Temporary Building for Vidyalaya has been provided by the Distt. Collector in India Oil Corporation Unit of Viramgam.
The Vidyalaya has Classes from I-X.
The school functions under the autonomous body of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.

Two Badminton Courts developed with one Room arranged for Table Tennis with new ‘Stag’ Table.
Sports Equipment for Cricket and all other games purchased including 15 pairs of skates.
