Vardhman Academy Meerut was established on 20th July 1981, by the Jain Boarding House Society (regd.) Meerut, to play a pivotal role in this nation building task. The Academy promotes sound moral, intellectual and physical education. The Academy considers the formation of the character as the first essential element of any sound educational system and so great stress is laid on the inculcation of high ideals, gentlemanly behaviour and moral rectitude.
To provide the greatest benefit of education, a child must be seen by his school as an individual. He/She must be encouraged to develop an enquiring mind, and their teacher must be available when they want to ask a question.
Children always enjoy the reputation of sharing and there is a ‘family atmosphere’ within the school. Since 1981, Vardhman Academy has its own separate campus in the heart of the city. School has celebrated its Silver Jubilee, there have been major improvements and extensions since that time. The School follows the syllabus of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and is up to 10 + 2 level. At present Science & Commerce streams are available at senior secondary level.
