Nahur Citizens’ Welfare Association is a Charitable Trust registered in 1977. The Association focused its efforts in the main objective namely promotion of educational needs by establishing an English Medium High School in 1986 in the name of “Smt Vidyaben D Gardi High School”. The School, within a short span of time, emerged to be one of the leading schools of North-Eastern suburb. The School has now Pre-Primary, Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary sections. The Institution has stepped into 28 years of commendable service in the field of education.
The Infrastructure has undergone a phenomenal change. From temporary shed to well planned building. Each classroom has been equipped with required teaching aids, airy and spacious which enriched the teaching-learning process. To constantly excel with changing times, we need to reinvent our roles, renew our activities and reshape our strategies. We cannot be rigid, we need to be flexible in our thoughts and actions and adapt changes. Anticipating change and being proactive will lead us on the path of success. Bringing in the desired changes in our infrastructure and policies and empowering an envisioned staff would help us achieve our goals.
We take this opportunity to announce proudly the commencement of the new educational Institution with CBSE programmes from the next academic year 2015-2016 in the name and style “ This milestone in the history of Nahur Citizens’ Welfare Association would not have been possible but for the financial assistance received from the philanthropist and well known industrialist, Mr Chandrakant Gogri, CMD, Arthi Industries, Mumbai. We are indeed grateful to him for this great gesture.
