The Shri Ram Schools were born out of the ideology that children must be given an environment that makes them want to come to school every day. The schools, which were founded in 1988 by Mrs. Manju Bharat Ram, follow her personal principle of promoting individuality through value-based education which promotes a global outlook yet retains intrinsic Indian cultural traditions. Her guidance has also led The Shri Ram Schools to lay a great emphasis on inclusiveness.
The Shri Ram School practises inclusive education for all their children, and this sensitivity is inculcated in its entire faculty as well as its training programme for nursery teachers, the Shri Early Education Programme and the Special Education Needs programme which began in 2000. The programme consists of an Adapted/Functional Curriculum (10 – 15 years) that focuses on enhancing the life skills (functional literacy, numeracy, community skills and self development) of children.
The Moulsari campus also facilitates curriculum for students who opt for NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling), which is a more flexible option available for students who are pursuing excellence in co-curricular activities or find the other curricula challenging and therefore need to study at their own pace.
The Shri Ram Police Public School will be affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
