The Heart of education is the education of the Heart ”is the educational philosophy of the Servant of God, very Rev. Father Peter Marie Mermier, a noted French educationist and the founder of the Missionaries of St. Francis De Sales, a worldwide organization, the educational agency of St. Francis de Sales High School, Kasibugga. Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales, is also known as Fransalians has been in the service of the society since 1845 in India, starting with St. Aloysius High School, Beach Road, Visakhapatnam in 1845. Now this educational agency is a big force in the educational arena of this country with its long chain of 180 schools of both formal and non-formal types spread out all over India. In Andhra Pradesh alone it owns and runs 20 schools including SFS School, Kasibugga.
SFS School, Kasibugga has been the part of developmental vision of the Fransalians for the Twin towns of Palasa and Kasibugga. A small step is the beginning of a great journey. SFS Kasibugga had humble beginnings. As a part of the larger vision of erstwhile Visakhapatnam Diocese, Palasa-Tekkali, the civil mandals were entrusted Fransalians/MSFS for spiritual, socio-educational developmental interventions in 1983 by the Most Rev. K. Mariadas msfs, the Bishop of Visakhapatnam.
