Holy Cross Higher Secondary School, Dimapur is a catholic school governed by the Diocese of Kohima and managed by the Parish Priest of Holy Cross Church, Dimapur. The school is affiliated to the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE). It was established on 16 April 1966 by Fr Joseph Felix, the then assistant priest of Christ the King Church, Kohima. The school was given regular recognition by NBSE on 16 August 1989 was upgraded to a higher secondary school in the year 2008.
From its very inception, Holy Cross Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, earned a reputation among the general public, the students and their parents as a “School with a difference” and it always tries to be a centre of excellence. Being governed by the Catholic Church, a minority community, the school has the primary objective of educating children of the community. However, we shall not spare any effort in rendering our services to all people, irrespective of religion, caste and creed and gender, so as to conserve their identity, language and culture.
