DESCRIPTION:

Bethany Educational Society was founded in 1978 by the Mathews Chacko Family after their long and fruitful association with Oral Roberts University, U.S.A.. Bethany Academy is a Christian, co-educational , I.C.S.E., I.S.C. residential school committed to the development of the whole person. The Academy is run by the Society which is a registered body under the Travancore - Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act XII of 1955. Since its inception, the Academy has been concerned with educating children in the values that lead to success in life. The Academy seeks to achieve excellence in teaching, as well as to provide an educational setting which serves to further personality and character development. It places primary emphasis upon the 'Education of the Whole Person' and not of the intellect alone.

Bethany Academy offers an academic programme from Kindergarten through class XII. The number of students in a class up to X is limited to thirty and XI and XII to twenty four for the purpose of ensuring individual attention. The academy is affiliated to the Council For The Indian School Certificate Examinations and prepares students for the year - 10 I.C.S.E. and the year -12 I.S.C (+2) examinations. The certificates awarded by the Council are recognized not only in India but in other countries as well.
