R.P School is situated on the outskirts of Srinagar city. The school is situated at a distance of one kilometer from Kashmir University Naseem Bagh Campus. The famous Dal Lake lies at a negligible distance to the south of the school premises. The school is still in its developing process and in the brief span of time it has got the status of one among the 10 top schools of the Kashmir valley.

The school has got three branches. R.P School Malabagh, the main branch of the R.P family enjoys the unique position and is entirely girls? school. It plays the main role in managing and functioning of the school as a whole. The Alamdar Colony Branch, which is exclusively meant for boys, lies at a walking distance from here. This school is housed into two grand buildings equipped with all modern facilities which are required for a high school. The Umar Colony Branch commonly known as little R.P is a sub branch of R.P School Malabagh. The girls studying between nursery and class first are taught here. After passing the first grade they are shifted to R.P School Malabagh.
