Army School Miran Sahib was established in 1978 to provide education with common syllabus and curriculum to the children of defence personnel.

Lavanaya School Maralia was Inaugurated on 3rd Apr 1978 Renamed as Army School Maralia on 1st Jul 1991

The school was started with an aim to cater to the needs and to relieve the hardship of the troops located in and around R.S. Pura area of Jammu.

The school has a vision to humanize, empower and develop the right attitude in the learner so that he/she may be able to emerge as a conscious, committed, competent, self-reliant and socially active citizen who can contribute effectively towards the prosperity of the nation and the world at large.
