Vasant Vihar High School started with 35 children in Amrapali Arcade in the year 1990. The staff strength at that time was only 4. Over the next two decades the school has established its infrastructure with 6 science laboratories 2 computer laboratories, auditorium , 2 libraries , audio ? visual room, art & craft rooms and music room. It is capable of catering to the needs of about 7500 students, right from Std. I to XII.

The Junior college was started in the year 2002 , with Commerce & Science streams having 39 & 19 students respectively. Presently the student strength is 480 with 20 staff members.
