About Cuddalore School:
Our Cuddalore Equitas Gurukul was inaugurated in June 2015 with 134 students and 11 staff. Under the leadership of the founder principal Mrs.Uma.S.Iyer, the institution has today achieved an enrollment of 685 students with a total of 30 staff members facilitating the institution.

Situated along the ivory beaches of Cuddalore , just a quarter mile away from the pearly waves, our school is gifted with a serene and scenic natural landscape. A spacious school building with a total capacity to house 1200 students across grades LKG to Std.XII in the years to come. The school has a lovely kitchen garden that grows seasonal vegetables and also serves as a learning tool for students learning about environment. Various classes take responsibility of nurturing the garden. A lovely playground within the school campus encourages sports learning.
As a proactive institution, our team surges ahead to carve a niche for ourselves as an institution of excellence for holistic education in Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu.

Highlights:
English and Tamil Literary Associations host activites periodically to develop love for languages. The Math Club actively engages students on a daily basis with puzzles that develop critical and logical thinking skills.
A unique initiative at our Cuddalore Gurukul is the ?Honest Shop? that sells stationery items like pen, pencils, erasers, papers etc. A menu in the form of a poster displays the prices for each one of them. Children who forget to bring their stationery purchase the same from this shop which is unmanned. They remit the right amount of cash into the box kept for the purpose. Indeed, a wonderful way of nurturing honesty and integrity.
During break time children are encouraged to play word games and construct sentences using ludo. Play way methods using the hop and skip game is used to teach numbers and multiples.
