C.S.I St. David?s Higher Secondary school is a Christian Minority Institution comes under the Board of Higher Education of the management of C.S.I Diocese of Madras. It was founded by the German Missionary Rev. Bartholomaus Ziegenbalg , the first protestant German missionary and a priest who came to India and established this school at Cuddalore port. This is the second oldest school in India and dedicated to serve the society in the year 1717 and its affiliated to the state board of education of the government of Tamil Nadu.

This is a co- education type of school having more than one thousand seven hundred students in a bilingual medium of education - (English and Tamil), includes CSI St. David Primary, Matriculation and Higher Secondary School. There is about 75 teaching staff and 17 Management service staff to meet the various needs of the school and students. The school is celebrating its 300th year of service in education. The School has been turning out to be good platform for future of our students.
