St. John's School of Special Education is a residential school offering a unique approach in educating children who face challenges in traditional class room settings due to learning differences such as Dyslexia and Dysgraphia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related conditions. We believe that each child's intellectual, emotional and social development are correlated and hence we focus on developing the children as a whole empowering them with self-awareness, daily living skills and knowledge. We identify each child's strengths and weaknesses and we streamline their energy towards their strengths. We provide individualized services that are effective and accountable, and based on positive approaches. Our team comprises young, energetic and well trained special educators, a speech therapist, an occupational therapist, yoga trainers and wardens who are dedicated in serving our children.

Our Curriculum
Since our children find it difficult to cope with the fixed structure and rigid rules of the traditional schools leading to stress and frustration, we devise an elaborate learning plan for our children which is not only individualized but also flexible. Our learning plan focuses on a child's emotional, social, physical and intellectual development. Our curriculum is such that each child is given individual attention and special care.
