FACILITIES Classroom The school building of Podar International School has been specially designed to give it a contemporary, stylish and international look. It is a huge building within a sprawling campus. The classrooms are well ventilated with white boards and flannel boards to provide an ideal sanctum for academic progress to take place. Classroom Technology Each classroom is equipped with a projector and a visualizer. Certain topics are taught with the help of this technology so as to make learning an interactive and immersive experience for the students. Computer Lab The age of technology is upon us and it is becoming increasingly difficult for someone to function without a knowledge of computers. At Podar, we realize this and have a state-of-the-art computer lab in the school premises. The computer lab is air conditioned with adequate number of latest PCs which have all the required software installed. All PCs have internet connection. This lab is specially designed to educate the students with the latest technology so that the children get comfortable with technology from a young age. Labs and library There are well equipped Science laboratories, Maths laboratory, Computer Hub for Teachers. The school also has a library well-stocked with books and periodicals. Sports Ground Our school has a state of the art playground where New Age as well as traditional sports are played Sports and Games We have sports for all age groups so that children can relax and exercise at the same time with a sporting spirit. The school has appointed a trained Physical Training Master to train the children in various indoor games like chess and carom and outdoor games like football, volleyball, basketball etc. We encourage students to participate in all the sports events. Canteen The school offers an optional canteen facility for its students. The food that is served in the canteen is hygienic and healthy. Transport Podar International School has a bus service to take children to and from the school. Each Podar School bus has a trained driver, conductor and a lady attendant who is equipped with a mobile phone. The details of bus routes pick - up and drop - off points, time schedules and bus charges will be provided by the school at the time of admission of students.
