The Kendriya Vidyalaya COD was established on 28th August 1984. The Vidyalaya comes under defence sector and Chairman of the Vidyalaya is Commandment, COD (central ordnance Depot) Jabalpur. School is having two streams, Science and Commerce in senior secondary level at present. The strength of the Vidayalaya is around 1000 comprises two sections in each class from class I to XII. Vidyalaya has its own building spread over 12.71 acre land. Initially the school was run in temporary building from class I to X one section each. Second section was introduced from 1995 in each class up to X. Vidyalaya is having science stream in senior secondary level since 2000 and additional section of commerce was added in 2007.
